What Solea is
Solea is a video player. It provides, sells, hosts or recommends no content: no channels, movies, series, lists or subscriptions. It is not affiliated with any content provider. It only plays the sources users add themselves, just as a browser displays the web pages it is asked for.
Movie and series details (titles, synopses, images) come from TMDB, which provides this data but does not endorse or certify Solea. Trademarks mentioned belong to their owners.
Privacy
This website
No cookies, no analytics, no ads. Fonts are served by the site itself. The Download and Releases pages ask GitHub for the latest version from your browser: GitHub then receives your IP address, as with any website.
The app
- No analytics, no ads. Your subscription credentials, settings, progress and favorites stay on your device.
- Optional Solea account: your email address and a vault encrypted end-to-end with your password are kept on Cloudflare servers. Nobody but you, not even the publisher, can read the vault. You can delete your account from the app (Settings › Solea account).
- Services the app contacts: your subscription’s server; TMDB (details and images); OpenSubtitles, when you search for subtitles; GitHub, for updates. Each receives your IP address.
- Your rights (access, correction, deletion): write on the Discord or delete your account from the app.
Terms of use
- Solea is free and provided as is, without warranty. You may use it; you may not modify, resell or redistribute it.
- You alone are responsible for the sources you add. Only use Solea with content you have the right to watch; the publisher does not endorse any illegal subscription.
- A problem, or a request from a rights holder? Write on the Discord or open a GitHub issue: you will get a quick answer.
